I watch it because it comes on right before Jerry Springer! The DNA testing episodes...and whores for teenage daughters gets old.

I think Maury is getting boring because he's covering things from last century. He needs to open his eyes and cover things from the twenty-first century. I am getting so tired of his paternity shows because that's a majority of the shows he does nowadays. He's done a few shows about ghosts in people's houses and caught on tape shows which are my faves for now, at least but I wish he'd throw his old shows out the window. They're too depressing; he needs to do them like twice a month or so.

I wouldn't compare it to Jerry Springer. That's just a bizarre show right there but I watch it cuz it makes me laugh sometimes w/ the baby daddy shows. He also has people come on the show who talk about how they survived so those are really inspirational. So I like watching Maury.

I appeared on Mr. Povich's old show, "Panorama" in the spring of 1984. This was when he was still with WTTG in Washington, D.C., and well before the days of programs geared towards sensationalism for its own sake. It saddens me that he's apparently sold out.

The topic for that segment was childhood sexual abuse. I appeared with my mom. We shared our firsthand experiences of being victimized as a child and non-offending parent, respectively. We went in full view before the cameras. Other guests were members of The Chesapeake Institute and an admitted sexual abuser. The abuser's physical and personal identity was concealed, and he was in a separate area.

It was an excruciating 48 minutes, given the topic. I fell apart as soon as the red lights on the cameras went dark. Mr. Povich was compassionate following the taping, taking a few minutes to check on me and to thank me and Mom for our courage. I can only hope he truly maintains such decency on similar level these days.

No, I do not watch Maury. I've seen a couple of segments, but he's not the man I once respected.

I watch it sometimes, but I am getting tired of hearing about out of control teens or some one trying to find their "baby daddy." It is getting a little dry he needs to come up with some better topics. I love the Tyra show though.

It's just plain entertainment with some twists and plots...it turned into Jerry Springer very quick.

I used to, but not anymore it is always the same 3 things, drag queens, dna tests and caught on tape, he needs to be more original.

not really, the topics of the show are almost always the same, out of control teens [ sex or just in general ], taking paternity tests, drag queens.

I used to watch it with my morning coffee for a laugh. Now that I have a daughter I wouldn't dream of letting her look at that trash he has on there.
